Rajinikanth’s and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 is faring well at the box office as it has collected Rs 409 crore net approximately. Although collections have witnessed a slight decline, 2.0 earned Rs 18 crore net in its third week. 2.0 stars Akshay as the antagonist while fans enjoyed watching the actor on screen with Rajinikanth.
2.0 is a multilingual film and released in Tamil and Telugu apart from Hindi. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted last week that the Hindi version of the film collected Rs 139.75 crore in its first week and Rs 38 crore in its second. 2.0 released on November 29.

In the meantime, Shah Rukh Khan’s new film Zero, co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, is scheduled to release on December 21. Directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero casts SRK as a vertically-challenged man.
Trade pundits, meanwhile, are constantly discussing the importance of Zero for SRK considering the fact that his previous releases Fan, Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal didn’t perform well at the box office. It appears, though, that Zero will expectedly perform as per expectations since advance bookings of the film are off to a great start if reports are anything to go by.

Trade analysts, in fact, are of the opinion that Zero might just witness one of biggest openings of 2018. Advance bookings for Zero commenced from Wednesday itself. Reports also suggest that Zero will release in around 4000 screens across India. If box office predictions are to be believed, Zero might earn over Rs 30 crore on the first day of its release itself.
