Ayushmann Khurrana’s and Sanya Malhotra’s Badhaai Ho continues its golden run and has hit a jackpot at the box office. The film has grossed more than Rs 200 crore worldwide since its release last month during Dussehra. Badhaai Ho’s stupendous success was supposed to stop once Aamir Khan’s and Amitabh Bachchan’s Thugs of Hindostan released but the film has not received good reviews either from critics or the audience and hence has not posed any real threat to Badhaai Ho.
The film has grossed Rs 126.60 crores in India business. Badhaai Ho has fetched Rs 43.72 crore in overseas box office taking its total to the coveted Rs 200 crore worldwide. The debacle of Thugs of Hindostan has proved beneficial for the film as it is still holding strong at the theatres and the screens.

The film deals with the taboo subject of aging parents getting pregnant once again. Featuring Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao the film has been loved by the audience and the actors have received immense applause for their performance. Surekha Sikri also stars in the film and has given a tremendous performance.

The film has been loved by Bollywood fraternity as well. In fact, Amitabh Bachchan even sent a handwritten congratulatory note to the cast of the film after watching it. Directed by debutant director Amit Ravindernath Sharma the film will garner more moolah at the box office until another biggie comes along.
