Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest release Badhaai Ho is making its star cast and the filmmakers congratulate each other on the stupendous success it is witnessing at the box office. The film has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office within five days of its release. The slice-of-life film revolves around a middle-aged couple played by Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao who find themselves pregnant, much to the embarrassment of their family.
The film got the advantage of the extended Dussehra weekend and cashed it with its strong content, funny one-liners and exceptional acting from the cast. Besides, Ayushmann, Gajraj and Neena, Badhaai Ho stars Sanya Malhotra, Surekha Sikri and Sheeba Chaddha. It is directed by debutant director Amit Ravindernath Sharma.

Ayushmann has been minting gold at the box office as he had back-to-back releases in the form of AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho. Both the films were appreciated by the critics as well as the audience and are keeping the cash registers ringing, and with the success of the films, he has definitely catapulted himself to the A-lister league.

AndhaDhun collected a total of Rs 57.42 crore. The film also stars Tabu, Radhika Apte and Anil Dhawan in the lead. The film is a murder mystery directed by Sriram Raghavan.
