Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 16 is getting more controversial day-by-day. In the previous episode of the reality show, an ugly spat broke out between Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam due to which an action was taken against the former. Shalin has been nominated for two weeks and forbidden from being the captain of the house after he pushed Archana during the captaincy task. It is a well-known fact that physical violence is not allowed in Bigg Boss house and hence Shalin was penalized for the same.
In the captaincy task Shalin pushed Archana after which she went up to Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia to complain about the former. Sajid Khan and Shiv Thakare also joined in the discussion and all the contestants demanded strict action against Shalin for being physically aggressive from Bigg Boss. However, Shalin refused to admit that he hit Archana and got aggressive again and threw the mic on the floor. He flouted another rule by smoking in the garden area and later went to the room saying that he is scared of Sajid and MC Stan.
Bigg Boss then asked Gautam Vig to take a decision in the matter as he is the captain. The actor decided that Shalin is in the wrong in the spat and Bigg Boss informed the contestants that even though Shalin’s actions were unintentional yet he will have to face the repercussions. Hence, as punishment, Shalin was directly nominated for two weeks and also lost the opportunity to run for captain of the house.
Now, it remains to be seen how Shalin’s fate inside the house unfolds in the coming weeks since he faces eviction from the show.
