Bigg Boss 15: Karan Kundrra calls Shamita Shetty 'aunty', actress's mother Sunanda Shetty writes note to host Salman Khan

In Bigg Boss 15's episode aired on Tuesday, the audience got to see a major fight between Pratik Sehajpal and Jay Bhanushali during a task. Bigg Boss gave 'junglewasis' Donal Bisht, Umar Riaz, Vishal Kotian, Akasa Singh, Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Simba Nagpal, Vidhi Pandya, Miesha Iyer, Sahil Shroff, Ieshaan Sehgaal and Jay Bhanushali a chance to enter the house. The 'gharwales' Pratik, Shamita Shetty and Nishant Bhat had to stop them. During the task, Pratik and Jay got physical. The 'junglewasis' enthusiastically played the game but the situation took a wrong turn when the constant argument and violence irked Shamita.

The 'junglewasis' tried to block the entrance to the main house and amid this, Nishant got injured. Shamita got agitated with the constant bickering and ended up calling them hooligans. Karan, who was supporting his team of 'junglewasis' had a conversation with Shamita and Nishant. He believed the former called them classless whereas it was Nishant who said so. Later, in the garden area, Karan sat down with Nishant and Jay. While talking to them, Karan referred to Shamita as 'aunty' for interfering in fights.

This remark of Karan didn't go down well with netizens. They felt the actor was age-shaming the actress by referring to her as 'aunty'. Now, Shamita's mother Sunanda Shetty reacted to Karan's remark. She lashed out at Karan by commenting on one of the social media posts. Tagging Bigg Boss 15's host Salman Khan, Mrs Shetty said such acts should be curbed with some punitive measures. "Which angle does Shamita look like aunty to Karan Kundrra? AGE-SHAMING and physical attacks NOT ACCEPTABLE and must be curbed with some punitive measures @beingsalmankhan," Mrs Shetty wrote.
