Shamita Shetty has a liking for her Bigg Boss OTT co-contestant Raqesh Bapat, who was her connection. Now, all connections have been dissolved by Bigg Boss allowing housemates to play their individual game. While Raqesh too has a soft corner in his heart for Shamita, he bonds well with her rival Divya Agarwal. Shamita clearly doesn't like Raqesh interacting with Divya and they have often had fights over this.
During the live feed, the audience noticed that Raqesh tried his best to bridge the gap between Shamita and Divya. However, it failed to happen. Apparently, Shamita reprimanded Raqesh for trusting the wrong people. Post a fight, Shamita opened up about her first boyfriend during a conversation with singer Neha Bhasin.
An emotional Shamita revealed that he died in a car accident. She told Neha, "For so long, meri zindagi mein, I didn’t allow anybody, mujhe itna waqt laga (it took me a lot of time) to get myself together, to put the pieces back together. I would rather take care of myself than just let myself be in somebody else's hands."
A few days ago, Shamita told Neha that she likes Raqesh. She said, "It's so obvious that we do, right? He's lovely but he seems very confused sometimes which is a little disturbing to me because I'm not confused. When I've made a decision, I stand by it."
She added, "If you want to be with someone, there are certain changes that naturally happen and you do it when you like someone. Not like you have to change yourself completely. So I told him if you don't want to change it, then why do you want to be with me. And I told him frankly because at my age, I don't want to do the flirtation thing when I know it's not going the right direction. Now, if I want to give my heart to someone, I wanna know that it's gonna be for keeps."
