The latest Bigg Boss 14 episode was all about new entrants, fights and changing equations. Vikas Gupta, who was shown the exit door after a fight with Arshi Khan, re-entered the house. Eijaz Khan, Jasmin Bhasin, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Arshi, Vikas, Rahul Mahajan, Nikki Tamboli, Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya started the task to captaincy. Sonali Phogat, a BJP politician entered the house.
Amid this, Aly and Abhinav had an argument during the captaincy task when the former showed support to Rahul Vaidya. Jasmin continued supporting Abhinav and took a fight with Eijaz. Vikas stayed away from Arshi as much as he could.

Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 80 of Bigg Boss 14:
- The episode began with Vikas in the confession room. Bigg Boss asked him to not repeat the same thing again. Vikas entered the house and left Arshi surprised. While Aly, Rubina, Jasmin, Eijaz, Rahul Vaidya, Rahul Mahajan and others welcomed him with a warm hug, Arshi stayed away from him. Vikas said his mother is happily enjoying a vacation in Goa. He thanked Jasmin for supporting him. In the garden area, Vikas told Abhinav that the housemates aren't supporting him because he isn't taking a stand. Vikas then told Jasmin that he read reports of her telling the housemates that he has snatched work from her. Jasmin denied it and said Vikas never interfered in her professional life.
- In the bedroom, Nikki told Jasmin that someone told Rakhi that she shouldn't have apologised to her. Nikki said that she expects a lot from Aly. Jasmin went on to ask whether Aly and Rahul Vaidya had a conversation with Rakhi about her apology. Aly denied.
- Later, Nikki confessed to Rakhi that she likes Aly. Rakhi said he is dating Jasmin. Nikki added that they aren't dating but are just good friends. Rakhi said Nikki should definitely tell this to Aly and follow her heart. Nikki blushed saying she genuinely likes Aly, and if he asked her, she would tell the truth. She said she feels shy to talk about such things. Rakhi approached Aly and told him about Nikki's feelings. He said he only likes Jasmin.
- Arshi tried to talk to Vikas about their fight but he showed no interest. Before the lights went off, Nikki and Eijaz had a spat over the latter's blanket. Eijaz told Nikki to mind her language and stay within the limits of her age. Nikki hit back at him and Arshi played peacemaker to end the fight.
- The next morning, Arshi, Aly and Jasmin spoke about Rubina's captaincy. Later, Arshi decided to not support Rubina and went off to sleep. Rahul and Aly encouraged her. When the alarm rang, Rubina went on to check what happened. Rahul lied saying Arshi had a backache and that's why she slept. Rubina asked Bigg Boss to send medical assistance for Arshi's backache.
- Arshi and Nikki spoke about the latter's fight with Eijaz. Arshi asked Nikki to sort out her differences with him and she agreed. Arshi and Vikas spoke about the bedroom duty and Rubina asked Arshi to clean her own bed.
- Actress-politician Sonali Phogat entered the house and received a warm welcome from the housemates. Jasmin told her to not get nervous. Sonali sat down with the contestants for a fun conversation. Arshi lashed out at Rubina calling her a bad captain as Vikas had occupied a bathroom and claimed that he had fallen asleep. Rubina asked Vikas to come out. He said he is taking a shower. Aly and Abhinav poked fun at him.

- Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task for the week titled Hot Air Balloon. A hot air balloon was placed in the garden area. The contestants announced by Bigg Boss had to get inside it one by one. The housemates outside the balloon had to put a sack in it with the name of the contestant they didn't want in the captaincy race. The contestant inside the balloon had to throw one sack in the pool eliminating the housemate from the race.
- Rahul Vaidya asked Aly, Jasmin, Rakhi and Nikki to support him as he wants to be the next captain. As they discussed their plan, Abhinav asked Aly if he would support him. Aly said he is backing Rahul Vaidya. Abhinav asked Jasmin if she would play with him and Rubina. She agreed. Jasmin was the first contestant to go in the balloon. After a fight with Eijaz, she threw his sack in the pool.

- Next to go was Eijaz who threw Rubina's sack in the pool. Amid this, Vikas tried to save a sack from Aly and Nikki. The task for the day ended with Abhinav eliminating Aly from the captaincy race.
