After a week full of twists, turns, violent behaviour and abusive conversations, Bigg Boss 14 contestants Eijaz Khan, Jasmin Bhasin, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Arshi Khan, Rahul Mahajan, Manu Punjabi, Kashmera Shah, Nikki Tamboli, Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya met Salman Khan on Sunday for Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
Salman welcomed singer Dhvani Bhanushali on stage for a performance. He grilled the contestants for not taking the captaincy task seriously. He played two games with the contestants inside the house. The audience could see a crack in Rubina and Jasmin's friendship.

Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 78 of Bigg Boss 14:
- Salman started the episode by showing Nikki and Aly's intense fight after the 'tameez ka dose' task on Saturday. They had a major showdown. Aly said he didn't like the way Nikki called him out in front of Salman. As Nikki accused Aly of laughing when sexual comments were being passed, he lost his calm. Their fight got ugly when they raised their voices and Aly called her a fraud. Amid this, Nikki and Rakhi sort out their differences. Arshi told Eijaz that she wants to leave the house as she is being projected in the wrong light. When Aly and Nikki got physical, the rest of the housemates tried to calm them down.
- Rubina calmed Aly down. She said Nikki has a soft corner for him and that's why she was expecting a lot from him. Jasmin then asked Aly to sort out all differences with Nikki. She told Nikki the same. Nikki told Jasmin that she doesn't know how to talk with boys and that's why she didn't approach him. Nikki broke down. Rubina sat down with her and consoled her. On the other hand, Nikki and Arshi got into a fight and the latter said she runs the show.
- Salman met the contestants for a hilarious yet painful task. He introduced the 'waxing task,' wherein the housemates were asked questions. If the answer was yes, the male contestants had to bear the pain of waxing. Rakhi got a chance to wax Rahul Mahajan's arm and leg. Later, Eijaz got waxed by Jasmin. Salman teased Jasmin saying she should make a soup made of Eijaz's removed hair. Rubina yelled 'yuck'. Aly got waxed by Nikki. Kashmera did Manu's waxing.

- After the task ended, Salman assigned a task to Jasmin and Abhinav. The housemates had to decide who among Jasmin and Abhinav are boring. Apart from Arshi, everyone felt Abhinav is boring. Salman told him to be more active and take a stand.
- The caller of the week had a question for Rubina. He asked her about the bond she shares with Jasmin and whether she trusts her like before. Rubina said no. After Salman exited, Jasmin fought with Rubina. The latter told she has a genuine concern for her and nothing more. Rahul Vaidya interfered and taunted Rubina for her wordplay. Abhinav told Rubina to not gave an explanation to everyone. Rubina hit back at Jasmin saying her personality is fake. Jasmin said Rubina has reached this stage only because of Abhinav's support.

- Dhvani Bhanushali performed on stage. She sang her latest song Nayan. Salman appreciated her and wished her good luck. After this, Salman met the contestants again. He teased Jasmin and Rubina about their fight. They continued slamming each other and then decided to not talk to each other.
- Later, Salman slammed the housemates for not performing tasks properly. He went on to taunt Aly and joked that he is 'mahaan' and a 'parmatma'. He asked Abhinav that why didn't he try to become captain and wants someone else to save him from eviction. Salman then asked Eijaz and Manu whether they played the task seriously. Salman reprimanded Eijaz for not putting in efforts.

- Salman then said that Abhinav and Manu have received the least votes. Aly, being the captain, got a special privilege to save one of them. He said Abhinav should stay back. Salman said it was a prank and everyone should take the captaincy task seriously. He spoke to Rubina next and asked her why isn't she interested in becoming the captain.
- Rubina said captaincy shows your leadership skills but in the house, it is more about buttering others. She shared that it isn't possible for her to do so. Manu told Rubina that she should become the captain once and set a benchmark for others. Salman announced a twist and said Rubina will be captain of the house this week. Rubina replaced Aly as the captain and got all the privileges.

- Salman announced that Kashmera has been evicted. At night, Abhinav, Nikki, Aly and Manu pulled off a prank by scaring Rakhi. Rubina got annoyed. She pushed Abhinav off the bed and threw his pillow down. The rest of the housemates had a good laugh looking at Abhinav's condition.
