Exclusive: 'Apni marzi se aaya aur apni marzi se gaya,' says Paras Chhabra on opting for the Rs.10 lac briefcase instead of the 'Bigg Boss 13' trophy; watch

Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 13 had an adrenaline-pumping finale on Saturday. The season which bagged the title of being the most-watched on Indian television and in the history of the show bid adieu to the audience by declaring Sidharth Shukla as the winner. However, apart from Sidharth, the other five finalists were also a household name and one among them was indeed a favourite among youth and others alike. He is none other than the sanskari playboy-Paras Chhabra. While his fans were expecting him to take home the trophy, the actor, at the beginning of the finale episode, walked away with a briefcase carrying an amount of Rs.10 lacs. Disappointed by his step, the audience was indeed awaiting more from him.

Talking to PeepingMoon.com about his decision of opting out of the race moments before the winner announcement, Paras told that though he had the dream of taking the award home, he failed to feel the positive vibe around. He mentioned that before winning Splitsvilla, he felt an aura of positive energy around but this time around, he didn't. Hence, he decided to step down. Saying that apni marzi se aaya aur apni marzi se gaya, Paras breathed a sigh of relief for at least taking home a certain amount of money.

Speaking of Paras' journey inside the house, the actor who shot to fame with his participation on the reality show Splitsvilla, became a household name with Bigg Boss 13. With his 'sanskari playboy' image, Paras won the attention of the audience with his love affair with ex-Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma and Akanksha Puri, his girlfriend outside the house. On the day of the finale, he was competing with Sidharth Shukla, Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh and Shehnaaz Kaur Gill.
