Ever since Ayushmann Khurrana's and Jitendra Kumar's film revolving around gay love was announced, avid cinema watchers couldn't keep calm. Titled Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, the film is a sequel of Ayushmann's Shubh Mangal Saavdhan co-starring Bhumi Pednekar. Now, as the rom-com with a thought-provoking addition is inching closer to its theatrical release, the team is keeping on their toes with back-to-back hectic promotions. After navigating across the city for their film, Neena Gupta along with Ayushmann and Jitendra, visited Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 13 sets.
On the show, with Salman, after engaging in a fun banter about Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Neena put forth a special request to the superstar. The 60-year-old actress asked him to prepare paani-puris for her. Agreeing to her demand, Salman served Neena paani-puris but with a twist. He asked Ayushmann and Jitendra to become delivery boys and hand over the plate to Neena. After one round, Neena told the Dabangg actor to improvise by saying, 'Salman bhai thoda teekha banao na, mazaa aa raha hai'.
Directed by Hitesh Kewalya and produced by Aanand L Rai, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan also stars Gajraj Rao, Pankhuri Awasthy, Manurishi Chadha, Sunita Rajwar, Maanvi Gagroo and Neeraj Singh. It will release on February 21, 2020.
