The latest episode of Bigg Boss 13 began with Sidharth Shukla-Shehnaaz Kaur Gill and their bitter-sweet romance. Soon, Shehnaaz told Sidharth that she can live without him. Rashami Desai, while fulfilling the utensils duty with Shehnaaz, told her to have self-respect for herself and give Sidharth some space. Shehnaaz went to Sidharth to talk to him but he refused saying he doesn't want drama in his life. On the other hand, Paras Chhabra and Mahira Sharma fought early in the morning. Paras got irritated.
Later during the day, surprisingly, Sidharth began subtly flirting with Madhurima Tuli. Madhurima, in a fun way, added a punch of sass to their conversation. A while later, Madhurima was seen rekindling romance with Vishal Aditya Singh. However, distracting them, Sidharth began talking to Madhurima through sign language.
As the episode proceeded, Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task. Each housemate had a photo of another contestant tied around their neck. Five buzzer would ring and at the first four buzzers, two inmates had to discard them and eliminate one housemate from the race to captaincy. The task started with Madhurima discarding Mahira's photo. Rashami eliminated Sidharth from the race. After the fourth buzzer, Paras was left with Asim Riaz' picture, Mahira had Paras' photo while Asim had Rashami's picture tied around.

Paras then told he didn't want Asim to be out of the race and said he would like to compete with a man rather than a woman. This statement irked Sidharth who told him to not bring forward his male ego. Paras tried to explain his point but Sidharth ended the conversation with a stern voice. Bigg Boss then told Paras, Mahira and Asim to decide but they began fighting. Putting an end to it, Bigg Boss announced that the trio will be responsible for all household chores till the next captain is appointed.
Towards the end, Sidharth was heard telling Shehnaaz that Arti Singh and she are the smartest contestants, which left Shehnaaz upset.
