The day is finally here. Bigg Boss 13 has completed one month, which brings viewers to the first mini-finale. In this finale, three contestants were evicted with a plethora of wild-card contestants ready to replace them in the house. While Paras Chhabra secured his place in the finale earlier this week through winning a task, he was also given the power to choose one contestant to take through to the finale and he chose Mahira Sharma. While this choice was not surprising, it did strike many housemates and viewers alike that Mahira was taking the spot of a deserving contestant.
Salman opened the first finale with a bang. He also welcomed former BB7 winner Gauahar Khan on to the stage to welcome and judge the wild card entries. Gauahar kickstarted the episode with a steamy performance and then took over as the Contestant Control Officer. Wild card contestants Arhaan Khan, Shefali Zariwala, Hindustani Bhau aka Vikas Pathak and Himanshi Khurana prep up to enter the house after meeting Salman on the BB stage. Team Bala aka Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar also enter the stage to promote their upcoming film.

Later, Salman met the contestants through Me TV and expressed his disappointment towards their attitude during the BB Home Delivery task. Salman said that Sidharth Shukla and the group gave up too soon and didn't even try to take the efforts to build new connections with Rashami, Devoleena, and Mahira. He told Devoleena, Shefali, and Rashami that their attitude was not right and even they gave up without understanding the importance of winning it. Devoleena tried to defend herself but failed to do so. Salman warned them that since everyone is nominated apart from Paras and Mahira, they should be ready to face the consequences.
Salman ends the episode by announcing the evicted contestants of this week and it comes as a shock to not only the housemates but also the audience. Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, and Shefali Bagga got evicted from the house. Salman also announces that Rashami was actually in top 6 but because Mahira took her place through the task, she got evicted.
Well, it will be now interesting to see how the wild card entries play their game with the old contestants!
