Bigg Boss 12 Written Update Day 44: Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta enter the house; their chemistry still remains the same

As we are all gearing up for Diwali and some of us are trying to keep it non-polluted by not bursting crackers, Bigg Boss seems to have his own dhamaka plans in the house.

Bigg Boss surprised the housemates with Diwali treats but the jackpot was revealed when he announced the entry of last year’s popular jodi Vikas Gupta and Shilpa Shinde in the house. It is still not clear whether the two are in the house for just as a task or plans to stay but, the duo has already started prepping their favourite contestants to walk the winning path. Shilpa expressed her fondness for Sreesanth and Vikas explained Dipika where she was going wrong.

Jasleen was stumped by the news Shilpa gave him over Anup and was unable to concentrate on the game. Shilpa and Vikas have not changed and inch with their attitude towards each other as they were at loggerheads over the task. Shilpa in her true blue style did not shy away from making things difficult for Vikas and his team.

Overall, it looked like a great start for Diwali in the house and here’s all the people who made the noise.

Here’s all that happened in the house:-

It was a colorful morning in the Bigg Boss house as the show began with the song Rangeela Re, as usual the housemates were unaware of what Bigg Boss had in store for them. Sreesanth spoke to Jasleen and Shiv about what should their game be as a team. On the other hand Dipika told Srishty and Karanvir that the three of them will have to execute things without Sreesanth as he is not a part of the team anymore. Sree told Jasleen and Shiv that Dipika and her team needed them more. Sreesanth then went to Romil and started speaking about KV. A minor argument happened over household chores and Deepak asked Rohit to clean the bathroom. Srishty was already doing it and she is happy to work with Rohit.

Romil and Sreesanth talking did not go down well with Surbhi and she had a talk with Somi. Surbhi told Somi that it will not be over between her and Sreesanth till the time he does not genuinely apologize to her for his behavior. Deepak was again flirting with Somi as he complimented her on her looks. Somi told Deepak that she wanted to go on a date with Salman Khan.

Surbhi confronted Romil about talking to Sreesanth. Romil said he did not invite him to talk and that he was just lending him an ear as he was venting about Karanvir. Surbhi objected to it and they had a minor argument. Romil made it clear to her that no matter how good Sreesanth behaved with him he can never trust Sree.

The housemates got excited as they discovered some Diwali treats in the store room hidden by Bigg Boss. Deepak asked Sreesanth for a biscuit. Sreesanth behaved childish and said that he will not give him the biscuit if he wanted to share it with Karanvir. Deepak assured him it was not for KV. Deepak took the cookie and gave it to Somi who was in the kitchen. Somi politely refused. Sree, Rohit and Shiv were having fun watching this and then for fun Rohit fed the biscuit to Somi to make Deepak feel jealous. Housemates were having fun with the treats as Deepak hid Megha’s packet of almonds.

The housemates then gathered in the living area and Bigg Boss started speaking about the popular jodi’s of the past season. He then welcomed Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta in the house. Deepak screamed and asked if they were entering as wild card entries. Shilpa and Vikas entered the house and the housemates were happy to see them; well at least some were. Shilpa and Vikas give the housemates a round up on what is happening outside the house. Shilpa told Jasleen that Anup has denied being in a relationship with her outside the house. Jasleen was shell shocked. Vikas told Somi that Deepak and her jodi is trending outside the house with people using hashtags. Somi refused to believe and Deepak said that people are now calling her “Bihar ki bhabhi.”

It was time for the task “BB gaon ki rangoli.” Vikas then read out the task to the housemates. The house will be divided in two teams. Shinde parivar and Gupta parivar. At the sound of the cracker two members of each team will be collecting the stuff required to make rangoli outside each house. They had to protect their rangoli from the opponent team. The ringing of the bell would indicate end of each round and then Vikas and Shilpa would decide who scored the point. The two were also sanchalak of the task. The task would have its effect on the luxury budget and the next captaincy.

Jasleen, Shivashish, Dipika, Megha, Srishty and Karanvir were a part of the Gupta parivar, Shinde parivar included Rohit,Urvashi, Romil, Surbhi, Deepak and Sreesanth.

Shilpa and Vikas started to brief their team on how they plan to play the game. Vikas then told Rohit that his outrage over Sreesanth’s comment was justified but not his language. Vikas again pulled Rohit’s leg and said that Srishty and him were looking good together. In the garden area Rohit voiced his concern to Surbhi about what Vikas told him. He said that he does not want to give any wrong signal to the audience.

At the sound of the fire cracker Rohit and Karanvir entered the room to pick up the material required to make Rangoli. Shivashish and Romil safeguarded their team’s Rangoli. Megha was drawing Rangoli for her team and Urvashi was drawing for her team. Megha then went and spoiled Urvashi’s Rangoli and Urvashi also did the same. A minor argument took place between Somi and Vikas and Somi asked him to mind his language. After the bell for round one rung Vikas and Shilpa argue over whose Rangoli was better. Vikas managed to score a point for his team and Gupta parivar won round one.

Jasleen spoke to Sreesanth over Shilpa’s news of Anup. Shivashish told her that they should talk later. Jasleen said that she was feeling very disturbed and confused. Sreesanth told her that this could have been Shilpa’s strategy but Jasleen refused to believe.

Round two began and KV and Rohit again get stuff for their respective teams. Surbhi started to make Rangoli for Shinde parivar. Shilpa lay down on the Gupta parivar ground and did not allow anyone to make the Rangoli. Megha still managed to make a small one. At the end of round two Vikas and Shilpa again got into an argument over whose rangoli was better. This time Shilpa refused to let go and the two again argue. Bigg Boss asked them to take a decision quickly and both the sanchalak’s are unable to come over a common point. In the end Bigg Boss intervened and said that since they both couldn’t make up their mind the round was disqualified.

Post the task Romil tried to speak to Somi over Deepak’s issue. Somi clearly told him that she did not want to pair up with anybody in the show as she wanted to play it on her own. She also told him that she is uncomfortable with Deepak’s move as her family is also watching the show. Somi then expressed her displeasure over the way happy club was treating her. She told Romil that they don’t take her views and considerations very seriously and that she felt overshadowed by Surbhi and others.

To the audiences’s surprise Sreesanth and Surbhi were seen in the garden area sitting together. Sreesanth was missing his family and got emotional. Surbhi was seeing the pictures of kids and then apologized to Sree for dragging his family into an argument. Sreesanth told her that compared to her Rohit’s comments were more hurtful. Surbhi tried explaining to Sree that though Rohit had gone overboard with his language but Sree had called for it.

Shilpa and Vikas talk to Dipika and Sreesanth about their respective games separately. Shilpa had told Sreesanth that she was fond of the way he was playing the game. Vikas asked Dipika what was going wrong with her and why had she gone quiet in the past few weeks. Dipika said that she was getting tired and the past two weeks have been taxing on her. Shilpa, on the other hand, tried to explain Sree the dynamics of the relationships in the house. Shilpa asked Sree to be himself.

Vikas, on the other hand, advised Dipika to be mindful while supporting Sreesanth and not encourage him when he is going wrong. Shilpa tried to explain Sreesanth who genuinely supports him and who just pretends to be by his side. She even went ahead to openly tell Sree that there are people using forces in the house to not let Sreesanth and Romil come close. Shilpa even went on to say that she still hates Vikas and feels like slapping him but, she tried to remain cordial with him. She advised Sreesanth to pick a clue from this.

Megha and Romil were also having a discussion. Megha told Romil that she feared that she will not be given priority in the happy club as it is governed by two-three people mainly. Romil also did not seem too keen on she being a part of the club and told her that the deal she made during the captaincy task did not put her in the proper light. Megha tried explaining to Romil that she was being targeted that day and that he is misinterpreting her move. Romil did not seem too convinced.

The rest of the housemates were having fun in the night as Jasleen told Deepak that Somi was telling her that he is tensed about how him pursuing her would be reflecting her image outside. Deepak said he was determined after hearing “Bihar ki Bhabhi” from Deepak. Shivashish, Srishty, Surbhi and Rohit tried to break open the Appy Fizz fridge to steal the stuff that Deepak had hidden.

The preview showed a massive fight between Sreesanth and Vikas. Is Sreesanth still hungover on the advice that Vikas had given him last time he entered the house or is it an after effect of Shilpa’s chat with him?
