Any ardent fan of Bigg Boss will once dream of entering the house as a contestant but after watching yesterday’s episode even a brave heart will question the decision once. No, it wasn’t the task that was difficult, it was the manner in which it was done. Yes, we know that the week has been difficult especially for the jodis but none of it called for such inhumanity that was displayed in the task today.
Here’s all that unfolded in the show:
The housemates woke up to the song Saat Samundar Paar. Roshmi and Dipak see a boat in the garden area and are keen to know about the task. Sourabh, Romil, and Dipak generally chit-chat about the housemates and the game and captaincy.

Bigg Boss played the buzzer to wake up Dipak who was sleeping. Kriti woke him up and Dipak asked for a doctor as he was not feeling well. Sourabh joked about Dipak and said that he was making an excuse to not do the work. This did not go down well with Dipak and he shouted on Sourabh. They both had an argument and Urvashi stepped in to calm down Dipak.
Bigg Boss then announced the Samudri lootere task. He warned the housemates that the task will have an impact this weeks luxury budget for the house and the next captaincy. The jodis in the task played the role of the pirates who attacked the Bigg Boss house for gold. Each single was given a gold coin which he/she had to save while the pirates tortured them to give it away. Sreesanth was allowed to not participate in the task due to health issues but he was allowed to guide his team. Everybody started prepping for the task as the jodis started collecting stuff in the house to torture the singles. The jodis discussed cutting their hair to scare them to give away the gold coin. Sreesanth warned his team by saying that if anyone crosses their line, he will beat them.
Neha Pendse was the first to go for the task, and Saba and Somi tortured her with pouring chai on her head, ice cold water inside her clothes and a host of other things. The singles repeatedly pointed this out to the sanchalaks. The jodis were in for a shock when none of this made Nehha budge from her seat. At one point they fell short of ways torture Nehha and in the end lost the round to her. In between the task, Sree not only lose his cool but was also seen shedding tears. KV and Srishty were consoling him from time to time.
After Nehha came back Dipika voiced her concerns over Srishty performing in the task to Karanvir. Dipika said that though she has her doubts about Shrishty, the latter will endure torture supporting, thanks to her rebellious attitude. The torture began with lemons and a lot of other things and just when the jodis non-stop threw soap and shampoo water on Srishty’s face, she got hurt and threw away the gold coin screaming in pain. Srishty started crying as her eyes were burning and her eyes were swollen even in the later part of the show.
The next to take the seat was Dipika. Nirmal and Romil began the torture on her. Though Dipika acted tough for a long time and tried to resist all the torture at one point Dipika just moved from her seat which Kriti and Roshmi said was like getting up from her seat. Dipika asked Bigg Boss to intervene as she said that she only moved her side due to the force of the water. Bigg Boss left the decision on Roshmi and Kriti and they obviously disqualified her. Dipika finally abided by the decision and the singles accused them of being biased towards their team.
Next was Karanvir on the chair with his gold coin and Sourabh and Shivashis’s jodi tortured him. KV too acted tough against all the torture of atta and lemon and garlic that they used on him. Dipika couldn’t take it at one point when he realized that KV couldn’t breathe and some genius from their group advised Shiv and Sourabh to attack his nostrils. Dipak went against his team and their ways and threatened to not participate in the task as he felt that his team was crossing all the human boundaries to win. During the torture, Sourabh and Dipak once again had an ugly spat. At the end of the task, Karanvir’s time was up and he managed to resist all the torture and came out shining with his gold coin. His team rejoiced.
Finally, the pirates only managed to loot two gold coins from the singles. Bigg Boss then announced the end of the task for that day.
Anup asked Sourabh about what happened in the task. Sourabh defended himself by saying that he never intended to harm KV as he takes KV as his elder brother. Whatever he was doing was well within the limits of the task. Sourabh said that Dipak did this just to grab attention towards himself and come out as a hero. Dipak later apologized to Saba for going against his team.
On the other hand, Roshmi and Saba discussed how Urvashi’s loyalties lie towards the celebrities. Roshmi says that Urvashi never speaks ill about them and even when they try to probe her on their weaknesses and strategies, she never denied that they have one.
In the garden area, the singles were seen relaxing after the pirate attack and discussing what all happened in the task. Dipika for the first time broke down out of sheer agony the jodis caused to her teammates. She even went on to say that she had lost all respect for Kriti not just as a captain but even as a human being. Karanvir and Sreesanth felt that the jodis took the game a little to personal and forgot that they were on TV and that it was just a task and not a matter of life and death. The duo agreed that Saba and Somi were not just tormenting them but looked like as if they were enjoying the cruelty.
The tables turned the next day and it was time for the singles to turn pirates and attack the house. They all start prepping for the ways to make it difficult for the singles to torture them their ways. Even enemies like Roshmi and Saba join hands. Shivashish, Jasleen, Saba and Roshmi start hid a lot of stuff like Shampoo bottles, soap, Garbage etc. The fear was evident on their face as they know what they did in the task was not appropriate and it will all come back to them.
