Ever since its inception, Bigg Boss has enjoyed a reputation for its creativity and conjectures alike. The theme for season twelve is ‘Vichitra Jodis’ (Unusual Pairs). Television continues its dominance with Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakar, Neha Pendse, Srishty Rode entering the house. Bhajan maestro Anup Jalota will participate with his co-singer Jasleen Matharu while cricketer-turned-actor S Sreesanth will be seen too. Amongst the commoners include Roshmi Banik, Saba Khan, Somi Khan, Urvashi Vani, Sourabh Patel, Shivashish Mishra, Romil Chaudhary and Nirmal Singh.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say that every year it is the venue where the participants reside is what puts the bigg in the name Bigg Boss. Director Omung Kumar has designed a house with all the elements of a beach for Salman’s show. “The beachy tranquil décor of the Bigg Boss house may lure the contestants into thinking that their journey in the house will be a relaxed one, but the out-of-the-box tasks will quickly pull them back to reality,” Abhishek Rege, CEO, Endemol Shine India, had said in a statement earlier.
When, Where and How to watch
It’s Salman Khan. The man talks number beyond our imagination! Competing directly with Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati, Bigg Boss 12 will air at a prime time slot of 9 pm on Colors TV. It premiers on September 16 and will be telecast Monday and Sunday every week.

One of the distinguishing factors has to be the selection of commoners. Thanks to the viewers who voted for contestants from the Bigg Boss Outhouse for Season 12, we might get to see Roshmi Banik – Mital Joshi and ex-Roadies Surbhi Rana -Kriti Verma inside the house. The elimination process is expected to be the same as every year but we await for more details to be revealed with the premiere tonight.
