This year’s Bigg Boss is going to be bigger and grander with contestants coming in jodis. The announcement made a lot of news and it was speculated that Bigg Boss 12 will also have a Jodi as hosts. Salman Khan who is all set to host the 12th season of the popular show, returning as the host for the 9th time in a row, was rumoured to be teaming up with Katrina Kaif who was speculated to turn co-host for the show. However, these reports were never confirmed since the time it started making rounds.
Today, during the BB12 event launch in Goa, Salman dispelled the rumours and speculations and even went on to reveal a few things about the upcoming season. Salman was asked if Katrina will be co-hosting the Bigg Boss 12 with him. To which the superstar replied, “Katrina must have spread those rumours herself. She was asking me that this time it is Jodis? I said, ‘yes’. She said ‘Then I should do it with you’ and when I asked why? She said, ‘You do your impromptu thing and I will follow and stick to the script’. When I asked her price for this, she said, ‘We will keep it equal, what’s your price is my price’.”
Salman was also asked about any ‘vichitra jodi’ in Bollywood during the media interaction. However, Salman refrained from taking any names but said that Sanjay Dutt and he had hosted the Bigg Boss 5 and that for him was pretty ‘vichitra jodi’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman and Katrina will be sharing screen space once again in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat which is the official remake of the South Korean film Ode To My Father.
On the other hand, Bigg Boss 12 will kickstart from September 17, 10:30pm onwards on Colors TV.
