After launching a book on ISRO, Vidya Balan attends 'Mission Mangal' screening for BMC officials; Amitabh Bachchan graces an event

Our shutterbugs clicked Vidya Balan at Dadar's Plaza Cinema where she attended a special screening of his latest film Mission Mangal held for the officials of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Tuesday evening. The actress, dressed in green saree paired with the same coloured blouse looked elegant and classy as she interacted with the officials post the screening. This is the second time when a screening of Mission Mangal was held for the BMC officials, with the last time having Akshay Kumar as the special guest. Vidya, like her co-star Akshay spoke to the officials and clicked pictures with them at the theatre. Mission Mangal released on August 15, 2019.

Prior to this, Vidya attended a book launch in the city. The book that she launched revolves around ISRO and is written by a documentary filmmaker and journalist Minnie Vaid. The actress, who herself played the role of an ISRO scientist in Mission Mangal seemed all happy and elated as she interacted with media at the launch. For this event, Vidya opted for an abstract print saree and teamed it up with a belt.

Amitabh Bachchan attended an event dedicated to water conservation in the city on Tuesday. The actor, currently seen as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, looked dapper, smart and charming as always as he posed for the lens.
