The upcoming rom-com Pati, Patni Aur Woh, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the titular characters, undoubtedly stands tall amongst the most anticipated films of the year. Ever since the film was announced earlier this year, avid cinema watchers and fans of the actors were sent into a zone of excitement. Adding to the exhilaration was a hilarious trailer. And now, as the release date of the film is inching closer, the makers are delighting their audience with peppy songs. After making our foot tap to Dheeme Dheeme, the team behind Pati, Patni Aur Woh released the second song titled Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare. This song is a remake version of the Govinda's and Raveena Tandon's track of the same name from Dulhe Raja.
Speaking of the song, we can see Kartik's Chintu Tyagi juggling between 'patni' Bhumi aka Vedika and 'woh' Ananya as Tapasya. From flirting with both of them to stealing some time away, Kartik's chemistry with Ananya and Bhumi is the highlight of the song and the trio does absolute justice in bringing the essential fun and peppy vibe. With the screen painted as a beautiful canvas of colours, pati, patni and woh add the much-needed bling and spice to each frame, making the wait to meet them at the theatres difficult. And don't miss the Govinda connection here. Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare is sung by Mika Singh and Tulsi Kumar. The song has been recreated and composed by Tanishk Bagchi while Farah Khan has choreographed the number.
Pati, Patni Aur Woh is the remake of B R Chopra's 1978 released film by the same name, starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeet Kaur. The original revolved around an extra-marital affair where an office going, married man (Sanjeev) falls in love with his secretary (Ranjeeta). In order to grow closer to her, he lies that his wife (Vidya) is terminally ill. Soon, his wife smells something fishy and spies on him. It's when the truth is out before both the women, hells breaks loose for the lead actor. In the new version, Kartik plays the role of 'pati' Chintu Tyagi, Bhumi is 'patni' Vedika Tripathi and Ananya is the glamorous 'woh' named Tapasya. It is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Juno, T-Series and B.R Films. Pati, Patni Aur Woh is scheduled to release on December 6, 2019.
