There are a lot of people who are waiting for a star kid to fall but I don’t take it too seriously: Sara Ali Khan on the scrutiny celeb kids are subjected to

Saif Ali Khan’s and Amrita Singh’s darling daughter Sara Ali Khan is the latest star kid to make a name for her in the Hindi film industry. She has already amassed a great fan following with her acting, spunk and spontaneity. Only two-films old, Sara has managed to make a place for herself in Bollywood. However, the actress at a recent media interaction made it clear that besides the advantages of being a star kid, there are quite a few disadvantages as well.

According to a report published in a leading daily, the actress spoke at an event about how she doesn’t believe in taking the pressure of her family’s legacy. Sara said, “With any form of privilege, there is a setback to it. You are as burdened as you want to be, and you take as much pressure as you want to. I am acutely aware that I come from a film background and, therefore, the scrutiny and attention I receive is more than it would have been otherwise. But I don’t look at it as a burden, because if I do, then I won’t be able to perform.”

She further added, “Star children do get it easy, but it also comes with scrutiny and there are a lot of people who are waiting for a star kid to make a mistake or fall. I am aware of that. But I don’t take all that seriously.”

On the work front, Sara is currently shooting for the remake of Coolie No.1 that stars Varun Dhawan in the lead with her. The film is directed by David Dhawan.
