Sara Ali Khan, although just two films old, has rightfully won over the hearts of the audience and critics alike. While her natural ease before the cameras is highly appreciated by all, it is her spunk blended with elegance and poise that caught the attention of millions, making her an instant favourite. It won't be wrong to say acting is an innate gift she has inherited from her actor parents Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan and the actress is leaving no stone unturned to make optimum utilisation of this quality with her choice of films. However, Sara, who gave equal importance to education before joining films with Kedarnath last year, believes that if not acting, she would be perfect as a lawyer or a politician. Well, yes. Sara, during her appearance on a chat event with a renowned journalist recently held in Bengaluru, told that apart from acting, she would perform well for herself as a lawyer or a politician. The Simmba actress further said that its not too late to pursue the profession now and added that she may join politics a few years later.
"If not acting then I would be a lawyer or a politician,” Sara told.

Sara, a few months ago, during an interview, spoke about joining politics, considering having a degree in History and Political Science from Columbia University. In the interview, the actress stated that she would join politics a few years later, but not as a backup plan. “I have a degree in history and political science so I want to pursue politics maybe later in life, but it’s not a backup plan. I am not leaving and if people will give me the opportunity to be here, I will be here for as long I can,” Sara told.
Workwise, Sara is currently shooting for Coolie No. 1 with Varun Dhawan. The project is a remake of the film by the same name which featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles. Now, Varun will step into Govinda's shoe while Sara will take over Karisma's role. The film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2020. It is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Apart from Sara and Varun, Coolie No. 1 features Paresh Rawal, Shikha Talsania, Johnny Lever, Jaaved Jaaferi and Rajpal Yadav in important roles.
