When Nick Jonas was moved to tears on watching his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas ace an intense scene for 'The Sky Is Pink'

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is truly a global star with a repertoire of films to remember for the longest possible time. The actress isn't just a gorgeous face and a melodious singer but an actor par excellence, which her husband Nick Jonas also seconds. Well, it seems the American pop singer was moved to tears with his actress wife's intense performance during the shooting of her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink. Agreeing to this fact, Priyanka, while attending the Toronto International Film Festival for the film with its director Shonali Bose, said Nick was in tears after watching her deliver a scene. The actress added that she was shooting for the film until four days to her wedding and Shonali called Nick over for cake and champagne, which is when he saw her perform. 

"I was filming The Sky Is Pink till four days before my wedding and Nick was on set. We were doing prep for the wedding on set and my co-producers and Shonali, they were so accommodating," Priyanka told. Adding more, Shonali said, "We had told Nick to come at the end because we were doing some champagne and cake for them, but he came a little early and we were out in the dark and Priyanka was doing a very, very intense scene and I heard a sniff and I suddenly turned and there was Nick standing next to me and he was just crying.” In response to this statement, Priyanka said, "She goes, you made your husband cry, this is a great scene. It was really cute."

The Sky Is Pink stars Priyanka along with Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. The film marks her Hindi comeback after Jai Gangaajal in 2016. The Sky is Pink is a love story of Aditi Chaudhary and Niren Chaudhary, told through the lens of their spunky teenage daughter Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with a terminal illness. It is directed by Shonali and produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, in association with Ivanhoe Pictures and Purple Pebble Pictures. It is scheduled to release on October 11, 2019.
