As the nation's top athletes celebrate National Sports Day on Thursday, how can our beloved Bollywood celebrities stay behind, especially when we have our inhouse sharpshooter ladies Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar taking the charge of making the fraternity a little more proud? The actresses, who will be seen in the film Saand Ki Aankh have given us yet another reason to feel happy on the occasion as the makers shared new stills from the film that unleashed their athletic side. Taran Adarsh, a renowned trade analyst shared a still from Saand Ki Aankh on his Twitter account on Thursday where Taapsee and Bhumi as Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar are seen holding their target cards and flashing a content smile at each other.
Dressed in traditional Haryanvi outfits, Taapsee and Bhumi are seen standing in between the shooting arena. "Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar... On #NationalSportsDay, here's a glimpse from #SaandKiAankh... Directed by Tushar Hiranandani... #Diwali 2019 release," Taran wrote.

Saand Ki Aankh is about the real-life shooter dadis Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar, who hail from Johri village in Uttar Pradesh and reportedly took to sharpshooting in their fifties. They are said to be the world's oldest female sharpshooters, and while Chandro is fondly called Shooter Daadi, Prakashi is known as Revolver Daadi. Reliance Entertainment presents Saand Ki Aankh produced by Reliance Entertainment, Nidhi Parmar, Chalk n Cheese Films and creative director, Anurag Kashyap. The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and will release during Diwali 2019.
