'Most memorable song of my career,' says Karan Johar as Bole Chudiyan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham clocks 400 mn views

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham or better known as K3G was a pioneer in many aspects. The film that released eighteen years, set benchmarks for films of the genre to abide by. Not to forget, K3G also gave us iconic characters like Poo played by Kareena Kapoor Khan and made the names Anjali and Rahul an all-time favourite. Apart from that, the songs were sure-shot hits and made their way into party halls, weddings, etc. One of these evergreen songs from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham titled Bole Chudiyan to which practically all girls have danced to is still remembered and is loved by all and we have proof. Bole Chudiyan, after eighteen long years, has clocked 400 mn views on YouTube. Yes, Karan, on Twitter, on Monday tweeted informing his followers about yet another achievement earned by Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The producer cum directed shared an anecdote from the sets and said he 'literally fainted with nervousness' upon seeing Amitabh Bachchan before him.

"Most memorable song of my career! My first working opportunity with the legend Amitabh Bachchan (literally fainted with nervousness) and the coming together of such incredible talent! Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol, Jaya Bachchan, Bebo choreographed by the one and only Farah Khan," Karan wrote.

Bole Chudiyan was sung by Amit Kumar, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy while the lyrics were written by Sameer Anjaan. Jatin - Lalit were the music directors. Farah Khan choreographed the song. 

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham released in 2001. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in leading roles, with Rani Mukerji in an extended special appearance. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham tells the story of an Indian family, which faces troubles and misunderstandings over their adopted son's marriage to a girl belonging to a lower socio-economic group than them.
