Priyanka Chopra who tied the knot with American pop singer Nick Jonas in December 2018 recently revealed that the couple still gets "a lot of shit" for their age gap. Priyanka who is 36 is ten years older to husband Nick who is 26 years old.
When asked if the age gap bothers them, Priyanka said in an interview with a magazine, "People gave us a lot of shit about that and still do." The actress also spoke about the double standards of the society that if the man is older to the woman then no one really talks about it. "I find it really amazing when you flip it and the guy is older, no one cares and actually people like it," added Priyanka.
For the unversed, Nick and Priyanka dated for one year after which the two got married in a Christian and Hindu ceremony in India. Priyanka resides in the US with husband Nick and keeps juggling between USA and India for work.
On the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink. The film which also stars Farha Akhtar and Zaira Wasim is said to hit the screens on October 11, 2019.
