Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have been approached for Ronnie Screwvala's next film based on an intense love story, a leading entertainment portal reports. Sources told the portal that the film, in all probability, will be inspired by real life events and is “something along the lines” of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s Kedarnath.
"Katrina and Vicky are in talks with Ronnie for an intense love story, possibly inspired from real life and something along the lines of Kedarnath, which was again a big hit at the Box-office," a source was quoted as saying by the portal.
Since the beginning of 2019, gossip mills romantically associated Vicky and Katrina but reports, last month, also insisted that the stars have been offered a “couple” of films owing to their link-up rumours. However, neither Vicky nor Katrina have responded to the aforementioned report so far.

"While there has been talk of both being more than just good friends, it will be interesting to see if that chemistry can translate into something more sizzling on-screen too in a film. It’s all very hush-hush at the moment as the modalities, including dates, money and roles, first need to be worked out," the source added.

Meanwhile, Vicky and Katrina have together made headlines for their comments on each other, starting from Koffee With Karan 6. Host Karan Johar had told Vicky that Katrina had said that she wants to work with him. Vicky was elated upon hearing this and pretended to faint. Katrina and Vicky also appeared together on the chat show Tape Cast.
Katrina Kaif is currently gearing up for the release of Bharat, co-starring Salman Khan, on Eid. Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike.
