Jasmin Bhasin, the lead actress of serial Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji has bid adieu to the show since she was unhappy with her role. Reportedly, the actress was not comfortable about bonding with a child in the show.
As per the storyline, Rocky is shown as a father to a boy called Honey and Jasmin's character Happy takes care of him. And as Jasmin herself is very young in age, she is reluctant to bond with the child onscreen.
Producer Gul Khan told media, “Jasmin was not okay bonding with a child in the show. Even though she had agreed on the storyline, on scene level she was uncomfortable. We do not want any actor to be uncomfortable or unhappy while shooting. So we amicably parted ways. We wish her all the best.”
Apparently, actress Donal Bisht who has been part of TV shows like Ek Deewana Tha and Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop has been roped in as Jasmin’s replacement.
In the past actresses like Meera Deosthale, Drashti Dhami, Surbhi Chandna, Hunar Gandhi, Nia Sharma and few others have refused to play mother on screen and quit their shows post leap.
