Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja today got married in a traditional sikh ceremony with close friends and family in attendance. From the Kapoor khandaan to the who’s who of Bollywood, everyone put their best foot forward and looked stylish in several designer labels.
For their marriage ceremony, Karisma Kapoor opted for an ensemble from Sabyasachi and looked gorgeous in a bespoke hand-painted organza lehenga with an emerald green hand-embroidered crop top. She accessorised her look with a necklace and maang-tika from Sabyasachi Heritage, replete with uncut diamonds and pearls, and rounded off her look with an embroidered clutch. She accompanied Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan with baby Taimur to the function.
Rani Mukerji too opted for Sabyasachi ensemble for Sonam’s wedding ceremony. She looked stunning in a navy-blue hand-embroidered lehenga. She rounded off her look with simple necklace, bangles and maang-tika. Though we missed her husband Aditya Chopra at the function, considering the entire B=town collected under one roof to celebrate Sonam and Anand's big day.
We just love how these two carried themselves with utter panache!
Meanwhile, it was heartening to see all the close friends of the Kapoors, gathered around to witness this wonderful occasion. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had donned the special wedding turbans, while Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao didn’t miss the rituals. Ranveer Singh, who had missed out on the pre-wedding festivities, made up for his earlier absence, while Karan Johar, Swara Bhaskar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Dhawan stayed close to the couple all through.
