Vidya Balan’s Sherni is getting rave reviews from critics as well as audience ever since it was released on Amazon Prime Video. The actress’ powerful portrayal has got another thumb up from everyone. Now, dairy giant Amul has come up with a topical advertisement featuring the actress in her Sherni avatar.
The topical advertisement bears the caption, “Share na please. Protected ferociously.” The topical was shared on social media with the caption, “#Amul Topical: Vidya Balan stars in human-animal film…”
Vidya plays Divisional Forest Officer in Sherni. She is given the responsibility to track down a ‘man-eater’ tigress, T-12, whom the locals believe was responsible for human deaths in the jungle.
Sherni is directed by Amit Masurkar. The film also stars Vijay Raaz, Sharat Saxena, Neeraj Kabi, Brijendra Kala, Mukul Chadda, Ila Arun and Sampa Mandal.
