The Coronavirus lockdown has brought the entertainment industry to a standstill. With the shoots and production work suspended several celebrities are utilizing this downtime to catch up with watching web series and films that they would not have had time to peruse. Aamir Khan is also trying to up his game by catching up on the various web series that are keeping the Indian audiences hooked.
Recently, he watched the Netflix series Jamtara which is based on a true crime that happened in the small district of Jamtara in Jharkhand. The story revolves around the phishing operations that rocked the nation a few years back. Aamir was visibly bowled over by the performances of Jamtara’s young cast and he went ahead and heaped praise on them by video calling them. Sparsh Shrivastava who plays the role of Sunny in the show shared a glimpse of the video call with the superstar on his Instagram.
Sparsh also expressed his gratitude towards Vicky Kaushal who also had great things to say about the show and asked people to watch it on an interview with an eminent journalist recently.
Jamtara also stars Anshumaan Pushkar, Monika Panwar, Aksha Pardasany, Amit Sial and others. It is directed by Soumendra Padhi.
