The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Kartik and Naira telling Akhilesh that they love him and they will play garba with him. Manish tells Akhilesh how he is important to him more than Kartik and says he will never let Akhilesh leave the house.

Naitik and his family members also ask Akhilesh will he allow them inside and let them join the celebrations. Naira gets emotional and Kartik asks her to be strong. Luv and Kush are sad but Manish assures them and says everything will be fine. Naira spots someone outside the house. The person hides.

Akhilesh tells Sulekha that he is upset with Naira and Kartik. He says he has to expose the real faces of Naira, Kartik. Akhilesh is about to make an announcement about the split in Goenka house but the lights go off. Akhilesh wonders the reason for it and then sees Kartik, Naira enter with glowing dandiya sticks. Everyone starts playing garba together.  Akhilesh sees Manish sad and he goes to talk to him when Bhai sees this and calls up Akhilesh.
