The beginning of 2022 has not been that 'positive' for celebrities. Amid the third wave of COVID-19 and the outbreak of the Omicron variant, several Bollywood and South stars were diagnosed with the virus. Malayalam superstar Mammootty has contracted COVID-19.
On Twitter, Mammootty wrote, "Despite taking all the necessary precautions I have tested Covid Positive yesterday. Besides a light fever I am otherwise fine. I am self-isolating at home as per the directions of the concerned authorities. I wish for all of you to stay safe. Mask at all times and take care."
