Naga Chaitanya has returned to Instagram after over a month of abstinence following his separation from wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Chaitanya took to Instagram to share his first post today after he announced the news of his crumbling marriage on October 2. Although he had been active on Twitter, today’s post was the first on Instagram. He also shared the new release date of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha that stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead on Instagram stories.
In his post, Chaitanya revealed the latest book that he is reading and keeping him busy. He revealed that he is currently perusing Matthew McConaughey’s memoir Greenlights and described the book with the words, “A love letter to life .. thank you @officiallymcconaughey for sharing your journey .. this read is a green light for me .. respect sir !”
His fans were quick to reply on the comments section of the post. “More strength and more happiness,” wrote a user while another added: “We love you so much.” The actor also received tons of birthday wishes in advance for his upcoming special day on November 23. He will turn 35 on November 23.
Samantha and Chaitanya had announced their separation in similar statements after months of speculations and rumours. Chaitanya had written, “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”
