Annaatthe Trailer: Rajnikanth plays a doting brother to Keerthy Suresh while bringing humour and action to his village-chief avatar


The highly anticipated trailer of Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe has finally dropped creating frenzy among the Thalaivar’s fans. The makers dropped the trailer which shows Rajinikanth in the role of Kaalaiyan, a village president who is devoted to his village folk and family, especially his sister, played by Keerthy Suresh.

However, the doting brother and the villager’s peaceful existence comes under threat from a villain, played by Jagapathi Babu, all hell breaks loose as Kaalaiyan takes matters into his own hands to restore law and order.

The film also stars Nayanthara as the leading lady and has Khushbu, Meena, Prakash Raj and Soori in important roles. Annaatthe is a rural entertainer and is directed by Siruthai Siva.

Annaatthe is produced by Sun Pictures and will release in theatres on November 4, on the occasion of Diwali.
