From India, for the world: Rajinikanth launches daughter Soundarya's voice-based app Hoote

October 25 was a special day for Rajinikanth, his family and all his fans. The pan-India superstar, better known as Thalaiva, was conferred with the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 67th National Film Awards held in Delhi.  The Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, presented the award to Thalaiva as his wife Latha, daughter Aishwarya and son-in-law Dhanush cheered for him. 

While fans were elated that their superstar became a recipient of the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Rajinikanth had another surprise for them in store. The legendary actor announced that his younger daughter Soundarya launched a new social media platform. Called Hoote, it is a voice-based app and Rajinikanth launched it with his voice note.

In a statement, Rajinikanth said, "My daughter Soundarya Vishagan, by her independent efforts has pioneered the making of a very useful app for people called "HOOTE" and she is going to introduce it to the world from India. People can now express through their voice their thoughts, wishes and ideas just like they do in writing in any language of their choice. I am very happy to launch this innovative, useful and the first of its kind the "HOOTE APP" in my voice."
