Samantha Akkineni has put a reporter in his place for asking her to comment on rumours of her separation from husband Naga Chaitanya as she was leaving the Tirumala temple. Samantha snapped at the reporter saying, “Gudiki vachanu, buddhi unda (I have come to a temple, don’t you have any sense)?” she said, pointing to her head. The video of the rebuke is going viral online.
Rumours are rife that Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have split up after nearly four years of marriage. The speculations gained ground after Samantha dropped the ‘Akkineni’ surname from her social media handles and changed her name to ‘S’. However, neither of them has responded to rumours.

On the other hand, earlier this month, Samantha gave a shout out to Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story trailer that also stars Sai Pallavi. Calling it a ‘winner’, Samantha lauded Pallavi on the trailer and retweeted Naga Chaitanya’s tweet. Later, her husband responded to her wishes and wrote, “Thanks Sam!!”
When Samantha was asked about the rumours during a recent interview with a portal, she refused to speak about it and said, “The thing is, even with trolling for The Family Man or this, I don’t react to them. That is how I have always been. I don’t react to this kind of noise and I don’t intend on doing so as well. Everybody wanted me to react to The Family Man issue. There were like 65000 tweets hammering me. I just thought no. I will speak when I have to speak and when I feel like saying something. I will not be bulldozed into saying something.”
