South star Mahesh Babu is celebrating his birthday today. Since the clock struck midnight, the superstar's fans across the world have been showering love and good wishes on social media. Giving them a birthday treat, Mahesh released the teaser of his much-awaited film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. 

Sarkaru Vaari Paata's teaser indicates that the film is a pure commercial potboiler. It begins with Mahesh warning a few goons and then packing some punches. While the actor can be seen beating up some goons, the teaser also highlights his romantic side. Keerthy Suresh plays Mahesh's leading lady. Both of them are awestruck by each other.

On July 31, Mahesh's look from Sarkaru Vaari Paata was unveiled. Sharing the poster, he wrote, "Taking off on this whole new journey of action and entertainment! Join us this Sankranthi! :)"

Directed by Parasuram, the film is said to revolve around a bank scam and will be a family drama. It is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Entertainments in association with GMB Entertainments. Sarkaru Vaari Paata will release in theatres on January 13 next year.
