The first look poster of Vijay Deverakonda’s and Ananya Panday’s Liger is being widely appreciated by the fans and has gone viral on social media. The film is being directed by Puri Jagannadh. Today, Vijay shared a video showing his fans getting Liger tattoos and cutting cakes to celebrate the first look poster of the film.
Sharing the video on his Instagram profile, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, "My loves, yesterday you made me emotional, happy emotional :') Your love has reached me! There was a time, I worried if anyone would notice the work I did, if people would turn up to the theatres, yesterday we released just the First Look poster of #Liger and the scenes of celebration across states moved me. Listen and remember these words - You just wait for the teaser - I am guaranteeing Nation wide Madness! Full Love, Your man, Vijay Deverakonda (sic)."
Actor and producer Charmme Kaur also shared the video and thanked the fans on her official Instagram handle. She wrote, “Myself , puri garu n our whole team , thanking u all for making #LigerFirstLooK such a craze .. Love u all (sic).” In the video, we see fans pouring milk on the poster and bursting firecrackers.
Liger is being shot in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously and will mark the Hindi film debut of Deverakonda as well as the Telugu debut of Ananya. The film has been jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Charmme Kaur and is based on boxing.
