Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda has collaborated with Ananya Panday for the first time for Puri Jagannadh's pan-India film. After much wait, the title of the upcoming film and its first look have been revealed. Vijay and Ananya's action thriller is titled Liger (LIon+ TiGER).
The poster features Vijay with the backdrop of a lion and a tiger. The actor, if the poster is to be believed, will be playing a boxer. Sharing the poster, Karan Johar, who is producing Liger, wrote, "Proud to present LIGER, starring the ruler of big screens and many hearts - Vijay Deverakonda & the fiery Ananya Panday. Directed by the exceptionally skilled Puri Jagannadh, we can't wait to let the world witness this story in 5 languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam. See you at the big screens!"
Liger also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Aali and Getup Srinu. In association with Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects, the film will be jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme, Karan and Apoorva Mehta. The film will be released in Hindi along with other South Indian languages.
