Ram Gopal Varma is controversy's favourite child. After being in limelight for his films, the director makes headlines for his statements in media. Now, in an attempt to document the events of his life, Ram announced his three-part biopic on social media. The 58-year-old director, in a series of tweets, revealed the details of the film and the title logo. The poster of the title incorporated words like intelligent, idiot, genius, peculiar, immoral, social radical, mad, philosopher, gutsy, bold, weird, devil and many others.
In the first tweet, Ram said his biopic franchise will be very very controversial. "BOMMAKU CREATIONS production house is all set to produce a 3 part biopic film on my life ..it will be very very controversial," he tweeted. He further added that every film will be of 2 hours duration and will showcase different phases of his life. "Each part of the 3 parts of my biopic will be around 2 hours in length with all 3 parts together being around 6 hours #RgvBiopic. Each part of my biopic will be about my various age periods and various phases of my life #RgvBiopic," he added.

The film is being produced by BOMMAKU MURALI,WRITTEN and SUPERVISED by ME and directed by debutant DORASAI TEJA ..shoot starts in September

Speaking of the franchise, the filmmaker tweeted, "In PART 1 a new actor is playing me when i was 20 years old. A different actor will be playing in PART 2 and I will be playing Myself in part 3"

Talking about the first part which is titled Ramu, RGV said it will focus on his college days, personal life and gang fights in Vijayawada. "PART 1 is “RAMU”Apart from my college days,firsr loves and gang fights in Vijaywada ,It will be about how i cunningly manipulated and made SHIVA," he wrote.

The second part of the RGV biopic series is titled Ram Gopal Varma. "PART 2 is “RAM GOPAL VARMA” It will be about my life in Mumbai with Girls,Gangsters and Amitabh Bachchan #RgvBiopic," the filmmaker added. Informing that he will be seen in the third part, Ram tweeted, "PART 3 is “RGV” —The Intelligent idiot It will be about my failures and my radical thoughts on God, Sex and Society"

The RGV biopic franchise will be produced by Bommaku Murali. It will be written and supervised by Ram and directed by Dorasai Teja. The film will go on floors in September.
