PeepingMoon, in an exclusive piece dated July 18, 2020, informed its readers that South sensation Prabhas is all set to collaborate with Bollywood's finest actress Deepika Padukone for his upcoming film. Directed by Mahanati fame Nga Ashwin, the film that marks Prabhas' 21st outing is much-anticipated. Confirming one of the biggest ventures in the history of Indian cinema, the makers of the multilingual project welcomed Deepika on board officially.
It is being said that Deepika's and Prabhas' maiden collaboration will be a futuristic sci-fi thriller set against the backdrop of an imaginary third world war. Nag Ashwin, in the past, confirmed that the project will not be pan-India but pan-world. It is believed that Prabhas and Deepika will be seen in characters they have never played previously.
Prabhas' 21 film is expected to go on floors in April next year with an expected release in 2022 that is the 50th year of one of the biggest Telugu film production houses, Vyjayanthi Movies. Workwise, Prabhas will be seen with Pooja Hegde in Radha Krishna Kumar's multilingual film Radhe Shyam which is scheduled to release in theatres in 2021. Deepika will be shortly beginning work on Shakun Batra's next with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She has the Hindi remake of The Intern and Madhu Mantena's Mahabharat in the pipeline. The actress is currently awaiting the release of Kabir Khan's '83 that will feature her as husband Ranveer Singh's onscreen wife.
