Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj made their relationship ‘officially’ this afternoon. The Baahubali actor shared a few photos on his social media handles featuring the couple, and wrote in the caption, “And it’s official!!” His post led his fans to think that the actor has got engaged in a traditional private ceremony but that's not the case.
Rana's father Suresh Babu has clarified that the actor and Miheeka are not engaged yet. Speaking to a leading newspaper, Suresh said, “It’s not an engagement. Our families sat together on Wednesday to discuss what all has to be done for the pre and post-wedding functions. It’s a ritual among the Telugus to meet the bride’s parents before fixing the engagement and wedding dates. We are happy to take these alliance talks forward.”
Rana and Miheeka, as per the former's father Suresh Babu, are looking for a December 2020 wedding and will be soon starting the preparations.
The actor had announced their relationship two weeks ago on Instagram. Sharing a photo with Miheeka, the actor had written, “And she said yes! #MiheekaBajaj”.
