Shedding away the title of the most eligible bachelor in town, Rana Daggubati broke millions of hearts yesterday by announcing his engagement with Miheeka Bajaj. The South superstar, after finding himself in between link-up rumours for quite some time now confirmed that he is taken by the Hyderabad-based interior designer. While his fans can't stop showering love on the new couple in town, their families are overjoyed. Talking to a leading daily, Rana's father Suresh Babu, revealed that the Bahubali actor has known Miheeka for quite some years now and they gradually grew closer.
“During these grim times, we finally have a reason to celebrate. The entire family is happy. The kids have known each other for a long time now and we’re all very happy for them,” Suresh told.
Speaking of the next step after the engagement, that is the wedding, the renowned Telugu film producer said that it will take place this year around December or even before that. He assured that details will be out once everything falls in place. “The wedding will happen this year. We were thinking of having it around December but it could happen even sooner than that too. We will reveal the details once things are finalised. One thing’s for sure, the kids have given us a nice way to enhance our lockdown productivity. We’ll now be busy planning a wedding,” Suresh added.
For the unversed, Miheeka is the daughter of jewellery designer Bunty Bajaj and is an interior designer by profession.
