The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Naira telling Suhasini thinking what would have happened if their mothers also thought of having only boys. Suhasini is in tears and she apologizes to Naira.

Suhasini says she had felt bad when she was pregnant her in-laws had wanted only boys.

Naira then lightens up everyone's mood. Kartik goes and hugs Manish. Everyone becomes happy. Kartik tears the papers of documents he had made for Manish and Suhasini.

Naira goes to sleep and wakes up scared as she dreams of watching someone's dead body.

Kirti gets a call from Naksh when she finds Aditya and her friend outside the Singhania house. Naira and Kartik share a romantic moment together. Naira tells Kartik that the last day of filling correspondence form Oli's coming near. She decides to continue with her studies.

Naira then sees a red nail paint spilled on the table and sees a nightmare about a car accident. She thinks that something bad is going to happen. Kirti's friend comes and hands over the cheque to her. Keerti comes to know that she has had a love marriage with Aditya. Kartik keeps eating the laddoos made for Naira.

Manish asks Kartik to concentrate on his work. Suhasini is happy with Naira's decision of continuing with her studies. Manish is angry that Kartik is ignoring work for Naira. Suhasini says Kartik will realize his responsibilities at work too. Naira is about to trip when Kartik holds her tight.
