There is no better way to celebrate one's birthday than celebrating it with close friends and family and that's exactly what the Tellyville queen, Ekta Kapoor did.

On the occasion of her 43rd birthday, Ekta treated close friends from the television industry along with family members in a suburban restaurant in the city.

Seen exiting the restaurant, Anita Hassanandani had her arms around her best friend, Ekta. Also present was Anita's hubby, Rohit Reddy, actress Mona Singh and other close friends.

Also papped outside the restaurant was brother Tusshar, father Jeetendra and mother Shobhaa Kapoor, who smiled for the paps.

The ace producer, despite having plenty of reasons to celebrate, chose to visit Tirupati Temple like every year, rather than throwing a lavish bash.
