Boney Kapoor who recently flew to Delhi with daughters Janhvi and Khushi to receive the honorary National Award conferred to the late legend Sridevi was seen at rehearsing for the prestigious ceremony in Vigyan Bhavan. The late actress will be awarded by President Mr. Ram Nath Kovind tomorrow.
Daughters Janhvi and Khushi were seen intently listening to the speaker who listed their mother's accolades. An emotional Boney too attended the rehearsals where his late wife would be awarded for her outstanding performance in the revenge-drama Mom which also marked her 300th and the last film.

Talking about the honour being conferred, Boney in a statement expressed his gratitude. He said, “Thank you. I just wish she was here today to see this. We are overjoyed to know that the jury has conferred the best actor award to Sridevi for her performance in Mom. It’s a very special moment for all of us. She was always a perfectionist and it showed in all the 300 plus films she did. She was not just a super actor but a super wife and a super mom. It’s time to celebrate her life and her achievements. She is not with us today but her legacy will always live on.”
