Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last at the age of 92 at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital this morning after suffering from multi-organ failure and chest congestion. She was in the hospital for almost a month post contracting COVID-19 and pneumonia. 

The funeral is about to begin at Shivaji Park. The mortal remains of Lata Didi were carried to the funeral ground in an army truck decorated with flowers.

The legendary singer was wrapped in Indian tricolour while being taken to Shivaji Park.

She will be cremated with full state honours.
