Dressed as their film's characters, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh and the cast of 'Housefull 4' shower some love on Akshay Kumar at the trailer launch


After much wait and built up anticipation and excitement, the makers of the upcoming comedy film Housefull 4 released the trailer at an event held in the city on Friday. In attendance at the event were the lead cast of the film namely Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Panday. The lead actors were joined by the producer, Sajid Nadiadwala. Apart from the quirky and highly hilarious trailer, what caught our attention was the attire of the team. Considering the film is set in two eras, that is 1419 and 2019, the actors dressed up in their ancient Princess and Prince avatar for the launch and piqued our interest. Not just this, they accounted to some fun moments, including planting a kiss on Akshay's bald head while posing for the cameras.

Coming to the cast, Akshay, who plays the role of Rajkumar Bala in 1419 and Harry in 2019, sported a traditional Prince-like outfit with a well-curled mustache. Twirling and giggling, the actor injected fun into the day and brightened the atmosphere.

Kriti Sanon aka Rajkumari Madhu from 1419 and Kriti from 2019, dressed in an exquisite lehenga, made for a sight to behold. Just like her character in the film, she seemed to be an embodiment of beauty and grace at the event.

Riteish, all dressed as Bangdu Maharaj, attended the event with full enthusiasm and gave a glimpse into his character at the do. The actor is seen playing the role of Roy in the current time in the film.

Pooja as Rajkumari Mala, looked gorgeous as ever as she posed for the cameras. With elegance and style, the actress added her charm to the event with her infectious smile. In the film, she also plays the role of Pooja, a modern-day girl in the current times.

Bobby as Dharamputra from 1419, made a powerful impact at the event. In this 2019 character, he plays Max.

Kriti Kharbanda, who plays the role of Rajkumari Meena in 1419 and Neha in 2019, dolled up in a traditional delicate lehenga for the event.

Chunky plays the role of Aakhri Pasta in Housefull 4.

Posing for the cameras, making stunning appearances, the Princes and Princesses were all smiles and elated.

Housefull 4 is a reincarnation comedy and travels between two eras and two cities, one being Sitamgarh in 1419 and the other in London in 2019. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and is scheduled to release on October 25, 2019.
