SS Rajamouli’s RRR has made history by getting a spot on the coveted Golden Globes Nomination list. The film has been nominated for Best Picture for Non-English Language as well as for Best Original Song category for Naatu Naatu.
RRR is a period drama starring Jr.NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film has had a roaring run at the box office not only in India but also abroad and has amassed a whopping Rs 1200 crore at the box office (worldwide).

In the Best Picture for Non-English category RRR is pitted against All Quiet on the Western Front, Argentina 1985, Close and Decision to Leave. Naatu Naatu has been composed by M.M.Keeravaani and sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.
The Golden Globe is a very important award to win given that it is seen as a precursor to the big Academy Awards that ends the awards season.
