Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore teaser- Mads Mikkelsen makes first appearance as Gellert Grindelwald, Jude Law and Eddie Redmayne prepare to stand against him

The first look and teaser of Fantastic Beast: The Secrets of Dumbledore is out ahead of the trailer release on Monday. The teaser was shared by Warner Bros. and take JK Rowling’s Harry Potter fans back to the wizarding world. The teaser gives the first look of Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald as he takes on the mantle from Johnny Depp from the second part of the franchise Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The teaser was shared with the caption, “Whether it’s on a page, a stage, or on a screen, it’s all part of one wizarding world. Continue the adventure with the new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore Monday. #SecretsOfDumbledore.” The teaser also shows the first chapter of the first Harry Potter book – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone interspersed with footage from the films. The teaser also reveals the main star cast of Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore and Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander. It also brings footage of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint’s from the earlier Harry Potter films along with Ralph Fiennes’s Lord Voldemort in all his rage and action.

Jude Law tells Eddie Redmayne in a teaser hinting at the grave things in store and the eventuality of standing against Mikkelsen, “The world as we know it is coming undone. Things that seem unimaginable today will seem inevitable tomorrow. Should you agree to do what I ask, you'll have to trust me, even when every instinct tells you not to."

The extended trailer will release on Monday, December 13, 2021. The film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is a spin-off of Rowling’s Harry Potter universe and has magizoologist Newt Scamander as the main protagonist and is set as a prequel series from the loveable Hogwarts books and films. The film will release in theatres on April 15, 2022.
