At DC FanDome, Dwayne Johnson unveiled the first look at his DC anti-hero who will be headlining a new eponymous standalone film titled Black Adam. Taking to his social media, Johnson shared a teaser video of his superhero film. He also revealed the premise of the Black Adam film: it starts 5,000 years ago in Kahndaq where he is enslaved but now he is free and ready to unleash his fury.
Johnson also revealed whom his character Black Adam will be up against- the Justice Society of America, featuring Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher. Noah Centineo is on board to play the role of Atom Smasher.

Sharing his electrifying look, Johnson wrote, “You’ve waited long enough. As have I, thousands of years to be exact. The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change. The man in black comes to crush them all.” Black Adam is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and is scheduled to open December 22, 2021.
